I had a wonderful stay at Jing Du Hotel. The location was quite good, with plenty of eateries nearby and easy access to tuk tuks for a quick ride to the riverside. However, the air conditioning in my room could have been better, as it was manageable but not very cooling. Overall, the friendly staff and clean facilities made my experience enjoyable.
Rooms

The rooms were clean and maintained well, situated away from any construction noise. However, I noticed the fridge shuts off when you take the keycard out, which was something to keep in mind.
Service
8.0
The service was really friendly. The staff welcomed me warmly with a cold towel and drink upon arrival, and they were always courteous. However, it seemed they could be a bit disruptive in the hallways, starting early and talking loudly without much consideration for other guests.
Location
10.0
I loved the hotel's location; it was quiet yet conveniently located near many restaurants and just a 10-15 minute walk to the tourist area along the riverfront. There were plenty of tuk tuks available right outside the hotel, which made getting around easy.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast was simple but good enough for the price, featuring a decent small buffet and a fresh egg cooking station. However, it could use more variety, especially for Western options, as I often had to request more bacon to be made.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offered nice facilities, including a small rooftop pool which provided a refreshing place to unwind after a day of exploring. The dry cleaning and laundry services were also convenient.

I had a mixed experience at Jing Du Hotel. The location was great, close to the riverside and some good local eats, but the room condition really brought my stay down. I was surprised by the inconsistency between the hotel photos and what I found when I arrived. The staff were generally friendly, but I encountered some service hiccups, especially during breakfast.

The room I stayed in was not what I expected. It had a strong musty smell and the bathroom plumbing looked like it was falling apart. I dealt with a noisy environment due to construction nearby.
Service

Service was hit or miss. While some staff were polite, I had issues with my requests being met. The breakfast staff seemed confused at times, which added to the frustration.

The location is definitely a highlight. It's super close to the riverside and a short Tuk Tuk ride to restaurants and attractions. I really enjoyed being able to walk to many places.

Breakfast was decent but I noticed some of the fruits had flies, and the selection could've been fresher. I did find the local dining options outside the hotel really good.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were basic. The hotel had amenities like a rooftop pool, which I appreciated, but overall the upkeep felt lacking, especially in common areas.

While some staff were friendly enough, my experience with certain reception staff was frustrating. They were unhelpful when I raised concerns, making me feel dismissed instead of valued.

The rooftop mini pool is nice, but there's no gym. The bar was overpriced and slow, with wait times for food becoming quite frustrating.

However, I did experience some issues with noise and housekeeping that affected my comfort. The rooftop bar offered great views, but the breakfast could use some improvement.
